In January 2024, a new mahjong anime called Pon no Michi (ぽんのみち) debuted. Some may wonder about the central theme of mahjong and if they’ll enjoy watching the anime without knowing how to play. Others may already be skilled at the game and want to make sure they caught every single detail. Never fear! Today, let’s go through the first episode of Pon no Michi together and try to dissect and understand everything mahjong-related.
